Portrait Pricing:

• The prices listed above are for a single subject only.  There is a $45 fee for one additional subject.  If you have more than three subjects, please contact me for a quote.
  
• The above is a guide. Prices may be higher for portraits which include a background or detailed clothing.
• If you are interested in having a portrait done of a smaller animal such as a guinea pig, please contact me for a quote. We can also discuss what size options might work best.
  
• 50% of the fee is payable with your order.  On completion of the drawing, you will receive a preview of the finished work for your approval.  The remainder balance and shipping costs will be payable prior to dispatch.
• For matting and framing of your artwork, I would advise on contacting a local professional framer.  This will ensure that your artwork is fully enhanced with the correct mount, size, color, and frame decoration.

Portrait Ordering Information:

Sending Photographs:

The portraits are drawn from your photographs: therefore, photographs should be clear and show good detail for best results.  The heads should be at least 1 1/2 " tall in the photo (4"x6" or 5"x7").  Although additional photos are helpful as references, I prefer the portrait be done from a single photograph only.  Sending your photographs by digital images is the most suitable method, since they can be sent instantly by email. And you can also take as many as you like until you get the perfect one.  If you are unable to send me digital images, your photos can be sent to me by post (these will be returned with your portrait.) If you send the photos by post, it is a good idea to have a copy, just in case it gets lost in the post.

Confirm Order:

Once I have received your photograph(s) and details or your order, I will e-mail you to let you know whether or not the photographs are suitable for me to work from, and finalize and confirm your order.  50% of your fee is due at this time.

Completion Times:

This may vary depending on the number of commissions I am doing, and the time of year.  I am currently on a 6-8 week timetable, but am happy to discuss shorter timescales for special occasions.  Please not that I book up early for holidays such as Mothers Day, Fathers Day, and Christmas. As a result, turn around time will possibly be longer. Please contact me for details.

Payment:

After your portrait is completed, you may view the final piece for approval.  The balance, plus cost of shipping  is collected prior to mailing your finished portrait.  For artwork shipped in the US (with the exception of Hawaii and Alaska), there is a $15 flat rate shipping charge.  For delivery to Hawaii, Alaska, or outside the US, shipping charges will need to be calculated.  I accept all major credit cards or pay pal payments through Pay Pal.
